Payment Terms

1. No setup fee, no monthly fee

There is no setup fee and no monthly fee to accept payments through QuoteHQ. Your QuoteHQ subscription is billed separately — see pricing. The rates below are per-transaction and apply only when you actually get paid.

2. Per-transaction rates

Card

4% + $0.30 per transaction.

Bank transfer (ACH)

1% per transaction, capped at $15.

3. Dual pricing, and who bears the cost

Which side bears the per-transaction cost depends on settings you control, and you can see and change them in Settings → Payments at any time.

• Dual pricing on (card). Your invoice shows two prices. The card price is calculated so that, after the card rate above, you receive the base price you quoted. Your client sees a single card price — there is no separate surcharge line.
• Dual pricing off (card). Your client pays the price you quoted and the card rate above is deducted from what you receive.
• Bank transfer, by default. Your client pays exactly the price you quoted and the bank rate above is deducted from what you receive.
• Bank transfer, if you turn on passing the cost through. Your client pays a bank price calculated so that, after the bank rate above, you receive the base price you quoted. This is off unless you switch it on.

Your use of dual pricing must comply with applicable law and card-network rules in your jurisdiction.

4. Who processes your payments

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, which is identified to you during payment-account onboarding and in Settings → Payments. QuoteHQ currently works with Finix, in connection with our payments partner Thryve, and with Stripe. Your merchant payment account is provided under that processor’s terms of service and merchant agreement, which you review and accept during onboarding.

Card and bank details are collected through the processor’s hosted, tokenized forms. QuoteHQ never receives, transmits, or stores full card numbers or bank credentials. Approval, settlement timing, and any reserve requirements are determined by the payment processor and its sponsor bank, not by QuoteHQ. Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes on your invoices are handled under the payment processor’s and the card networks’ rules.

5. Changes to these rates

If these per-transaction rates change, we will give you advance notice as described in our Terms of Service.
